APPOINTMENT OF THE REV. E. FERRIER TO A CHAPLAINCY IN THE ISLE OF MAN. — The numewrous friends of this gentleman will be pleased to learn that the Governor of trhe Isle of Man had appointed him to the Government Chaplaincy at CAstletown, in that island, at a salary of £200 a year. He left Southampton on Thursday, accompanied by hearty good wishes for his welfare in his new sphere of usefulness.
