Walls (formally Codd) Edward. Adm pens at Trinity Hall Cambridge November 4th 1758 (3rd son of George Codd of Hemswell Lincolnshire born 1739 went to school at Wakefield.
Matriic Michs 1758, LLB 1766. Rector of Little Steeping Lincolnshire 1765-1782. Rector pf Grayton le Wolds 1771-1811. Rector of Firsby with Great Steeping 1782. Preb of Lincoln 1801. Rector of Willoughby St Helens 1811-1815
Assumed the name of Walla 1778 as devisee of Joseph Walls of Boothby Hall [his cousin]. Married 1773 to Mary daugter of Thomas Booth of Wainfleet St Mary.
Lived latterly at Spilsby where he died March 9th 1815 the father of Richard who also went to Trinity Cambridge at the age of 18
