“MAJOR GENERAL’S WIDOW DEAD
The death occurred at her residence at Hundleby, near Spilsby, on Saturday, of Mrs. Annie Leslie Richardson, aged 78, a well-know and highly respected Lincolnshire lady. She was the widow of the late Major-General John Booth Richardson, of Halton House, Spilsby, and had been an invalid for some years.
Prior to that she had taken a great interest in the social life of East Lincolnshire, being a keen worker in many causes. She always took a special interest in the Territorials, and was one of the founders of the =East Lincs. music festivals.”
